Sunday 25th September – bike **** – Around Felixstowe including lunch with ‘Emily’ – sunny start then cloudy.

Surprisingly warm and sunny this morning, even managed my exercises in the back garden before packing a picnic and setting off on our bikes as it clouded over! We were going to go to Felixstowe Ferry but changed our minds along Marsh Lane and went to visit ‘Emily’ at Falkenham church instead, lovely it was too being vey peaceful enjoying our delicious gammon roll watching a huge number of pigeons in the field below the church! Well rested we take the usual route back on bridle ways to Kirton, then Trimley to the tree lined path leading to Felixstowe docks, Mag then heads for home while I carry onto Felixstowe dock view point, along the prom and home.
Looks like its going to be a breezy week but definitely getting cooler with the wind from the north!
